Stay Healthy This Holiday Season

Along with seasonal allergies, this time of year produces another quasi-health hazard: namely, the holiday season. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the other myriad, annual, traditional family get-togethers are almost always rife with substantial spreads featuring all our holiday favorites: turkey, ham, some form of casserole, pumpkin pie, deviled eggs, etc. I almost passed out from food ecstasy just writing about it.

However, as visions of gravies and dressings dance in our heads, we owe it to ourselves and our families to act somewhat responsibly: we can indulge, of course, but we can also choose not to overindulge. While our noses sniffle and our stomachs quake, we may think that there’s no hope. Well, we’re wrong. We’re dead wrong. We can all stay healthy this holiday season.
